John McCarten joined the Academic Solutions team at
Synergis in July of 2005, but is not new to Synergis. He previously worked
as a Sales and Marketing Specialist for our Adept document management
division. John received a B.A. in Economics from Metropolitan University
of Manchester in Manchester, England. After moving to the U.S., he was
employed as a Medical Service Specialist supporting Roche Diagnostics
where he resolved customer complaints and technical problems involving
medical equipment. He has also worked as a Customer Service Rep for The
Hartford and Cigna Insurance Groups.
As Educational Coordinator, John responds to customer inquiries regarding
products, teacher training, and orders placed. He is committed to delivering
a superior customer experience to all of his callers.
John McCarten’s Goal: “To provide educators with information
regarding advancements in technology education and support them in their
efforts to prepare students for the future demands in the technology
and engineering environments of the 21st century.”
